Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intermediate Care (IMC) - Medical Cardiac Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: Discuss during interview Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required License: Active IL license or in application process Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: - Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias- Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR band- Feeding tube care and management; Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure care- Profound IV therapy/phlebotomy skills and experience- Managing Heparin protocols and cardiac drips- Experience with CVA, surgical drains, chest tubes, and non-invasive airway management- Proficiency in Cerner charting Job Description: - Open to candidates looking for a later start date- Will work every other weekend- First timers accepted- No on-call required- Candidate may be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs- Open to accommodating block schedule, to be discussed with manager- Previous charge experience and teaching hospital experience preferred- Experience in Level I Trauma center is advantageous- Must have completed necessary orientation and module hours prior to starting work- Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays- Engage in isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac management
