Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values, and Mercy Service Standards. Job Requirements Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.) Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (may be submitted without, but must obtain prior to start) Years of Experience: 1 year tele Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Tele, inpatient only Float Requirements: will float on a rotational basis Schedule Information Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 – must be indicated on submission form Assignment Length: 13 weeks Weekend Hours: As required by facility Call Requirements: None Unit Specific Information Personality Fit: Determined, decisive, flexible Type of Patients on Unit: Med or Med tele, developmental delays Additional Details Scrub Color: Black Any unacceptable attire: Anything but black scrubs
