Position / Specialty: Operating roomShift: 0645-151523 rooms. Minimum 3 years' experience required.First-timers accepted: No.Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Within skill set-rarely happensOpen to accommodating block schedule? No.Locals accepted: No- must live at least 50 miles from facility to apply.RTO Restrictions: All requested time off must be reviewed and approved by manager.Special Requirements: Will work with all service lines except CV. General OR and Trauma experience required. Cerner experience preferred. Level I trauma experience required.Job Requirements
Required Bariatric Case Experience: Laparoscopic assisted cases.Required General Surgery Case Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Whipple.Required Neurology Case Skills/Experience: Cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion.Required Orthopedic Case Skills/Experience: Arthroscopy, Carpal Tunnel release, Closed reduction of fractures, Open reduction of fractures.Required Plastic Surgery Case Skills/Experience: Free Flap - Microvascular.Required Transplant Skills/Experience: Organ donation.Required Urology Case Skills/Experience: Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy.Required Trauma Case Skills/Experience: Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA (multiple injuries).Required Emergency management Skills/Experience: Code response, Fire safety, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia.Required Equipment/Instrumentation/Supplies Experience: Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Hana tables.Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Administration of blood products, Infection control, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Urinary bladder catheterization.Schedule Information
