Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)
StartDate: 11/25/2024Available Shifts: 8 DPay Rate: $3197.00 - $3683.00
Perform a variety of hemodynamic evaluations to detect obstructions, as directed by a physician or in response to previous test results, including: carotid duplex ultrasound imaging, arterial duplex imaging, venous duplex imaging, and Doppler ultrasound, plethysmography, pressure measurements, and other methodologies to evaluate patients suspected of having peripheral vascular disease. Provide excellent service to our patients along with a written preliminary interpretation and impression of test results that are complete and accurate. Record and maintain test data.
Required QualificationsExperience- One (1) year of clinical experience in peripheral vascular imaging.Education- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.License, Certification, Registration- Certification as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS).- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association must be obtained prior to hire date. Additional Requirements:- Use of vascular equipment.- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred QualificationsTwo (2) years of clinical experience in peripheral vascular imaging.
