We have an exciting opportunity for you! We're offering a permanent hybrid role that will allow you to work from home while also having the opportunity to be hands-on at our world-class facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role will allow you to utilize your unique skill set and experience in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. We are offering relocation assistance for the right candidate who is willing to join our team and help us to take our projects to the next level.Responsibilities:As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for:1. Conducting power system analysis and developing detailed plans for project execution.2. Utilizing tools such as PJM, PSSE, and TARA to optimize planning processes.3. Designing and implementing electrical controls and systems.4. Overseeing the maintenance and operation of substation and transmission lines.5. Utilizing AutoCAD for electrical design and project planning.6. Collaborating with project controls and system engineers to ensure project success.7. Ensuring all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization’s established policies and objectives.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.3. Proficiency in PJM, PSSE, TARA, and AutoCAD.4. Strong knowledge of power system analysis, electrical controls, and electrical design.5. Experience in planning, overseeing, and managing substation and transmission lines.6. A professional engineering license is preferred.7. Demonstrated experience in project controls and system engineering.8. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.10.
