FLOAT RN- WILL BE REQUIRED TO FLOAT to the medical care unit, post surgical unit and Intermediate Care Unit.Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.Teaches patients and significant others.Documents patient care in the medical record.Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.Flexible, able to prioritize and adapt to rapidly-changing patient and unit needs.Demonstrates effective teaching skills.Responds effectively to patient crisis/emergency situations.Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.Flexibility in accepting assignment to varied areas; friendly, helpful attitude.Job Requirements
Recent (within past 5 years) hospital experience- REQUIRED.2 years of Med Surg experience- REQUIRED.Will be required to float within the Medical Care Unit, Post Surgical Unit and Intermediate Care Unit/PCU- REQUIRED.Schedule Information
16 hours unbillable OT is 1.25x BR.Additional Details
Client can cancel 4 shifts per 13 weeks.
