Communication Specialist
to join our team!Responsibilities:Contributing member of a strategic communications team, collaborating with others to draft communications summaries, reports, talking points, social media posts, and create complementary graphics and other materials, as requiredTranslate data into impactful charts, graphs, infographics, and presentations for various audiencesCreate original, 508-compliant content and edit images, animations, sound, text and video, utilizing graphic design softwareEnsure all client deliverables and work products meet editorial specifications, adhere to agency branding and formatting standardsAssist with development of engagement strategies to further organizational goals and objectivesProfessional Experience and Skills:Minimum four (4) years’ experience as part of a collaborative team supporting the following strategic communications functions:
graphic design and content development (e.g.: researching, writing, editing, and reviewing)social media campaignsevent planning and facilitationexecutive leadership support
Proficiency using M365 (e.g.: SharePoint) and Adobe products (e.g.: Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro)Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work successfully with general/limited directionComfortable interacting and interfacing with senior managementComfortable in dynamic environments and with rapidly shifting prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersRequires excellent attention to detailEducation and Years of Experience:May be substituted with an Associate’s degree and additional two (2) years’ relevant experience (TOTAL six [6] years) ORAdditional four (4) years’ relevant work experience (TOTAL eight [8] years)Security Clearance:U.S. Citizenship is
