Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Espanola, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/02/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel 75 MILE STRAIGHT LIN E RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility but do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please Note - All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission. If your agency or the traveler does not include all RTO in the submission form and adds it post confirmation, your agency will be at risk of being removed from the PHS vendor set. No exceptions • When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 2 years’ experience current required in large PACU. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. CERTS : BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required and must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed. SHIFTS: Varied with flexibility to start 30 min earlier depending on the schedule, Monday - Friday , and call responsibility shared between 4 RN's, 30 minutes call response) Call Monday - Friday 3p-7a, Weekend requirements Yes 24 call Saturday and Sunday rotating if on call.- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. ORIENTATION : 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
