Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Stockbridge, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/11/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel 36 or 48 Hour Guarantee Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: General Diagnoses include ARDS, Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, DKA, Post-op complications, Cardiogenic shock, GIB, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, Liver failure, Drug overdose, ESRD on CRRT; Block scheduling is not guaranteed; No Travel Pairs (regardless if one is on another unit) Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 (Traveler should be prepared for the possibility of taking a 3rd patient); 24 Rooms with average daily census of 19 Unit Systems: Pyxis, Epic, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend Floating: Yes, within facility Call Requirements: Not specified Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1 Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 Independence Day: Thursday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 2 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29 Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25 Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Pre-Screen Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
