Surgical Tech - Day shift with possible night shift rotation (0700-1930 day shift, 1900-0730 night shift)Neuro Surgery- Anterior cervical fusion, Cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP shunt, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF, KyphoplastyEar, Nose, Throat (ENT)- Endoscopic sinus procedures *, Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty,, Mastoidectomy/Tympanoplasty/Stapedectomy, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, TracheostomyLaparoscopic assisted cases *Bi-Weekly Orientation - upcoming start dates30 rooms, 60-80 cases per dayLevel 1 Trauma experience highly preferredFirst time travelers NOT acceptedExperience with General Surgery, Endo/Laparoscopic, Bariatrics, Neuro requiredExperience with Oncology and Ortho procedures highly preferredDaVinci experience highly preferredScrubs provided by facilityJob Requirements

Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)Call-Back & Extended Shifts: Please be advised that the call-back rate is only paid if a traveler is on-call offsite and is called-back to the facility after their shift has ended. If their shift is extended due to census or a case running over, they will be paid at their regular rate until they go into overtime. They should not be clocking out and back in for any shifts that run over or are extended.Travelers are not paid the same as Core staff members at Nebraska Medicine as Core staff are incentivized differently. The Core Staff policy does not apply to travelers and travelers will only be paid call-back when placed on-call after their shift has ended; they have left the facility, and are called-back.
