We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Director to lead the culinary teams at Camp Lucy's onsite restaurants and banquet venues. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food and beverage operations, and a passion for delivering extraordinary guest experiences. The Food & Beverage Director will oversee all aspects of restaurant, bar, and banquet operations, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, staff engagement, and profitability. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Director to lead the culinary teams at Camp Lucy's onsite restaurants and banquet venues. Operational Leadership:
- Lead the daily operations of all on-site food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities, ensuring alignment with the resort's overall goals and values.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and vendor relationships, ensuring consistent product quality and cost control.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures that ensure efficient, high-quality service and continuous improvement.
- Cultivate a culture of exceptional service, ensuring that all guests receive personalized and memorable dining experiences.
- Monitor guest feedback through reviews, surveys, and direct interactions to continuously improve service and offerings.
- Collaborate with the culinary teams to ensure menus reflect current trends, local flavors, and seasonal ingredients. Work closely with the sales and events team to create customized food and beverage experiences for weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of talented culinary professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback, coaching, and opportunities for growth.
- Create and manage annual food & beverage budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize costs to improve results.
- Identify opportunities to drive revenue through menu engineering, strategic pricing, upselling, and special promotions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding health, safety, and alcohol service.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety across all food and beverage outlets.
- Implement quality assurance programs to uphold the resort's commitment to excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in food & beverage management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within upscale restaurants or resorts.
- Proven success in leading food & beverage teams, managing operations, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of food, wine, and beverage trends and banquet and event management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a commitment to excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
