The successful candidate:
This is a Full-time position where you will work Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, including one (1) Saturday a month.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Acute Care and Inpatient.
City of Hope is in search of a proficient Physical Therapist to become part of our dedicated team. The role entails performing evaluations, formulating treatment strategies, and providing therapy to patients. Beyond patient treatment, the position includes instructing patients and caregivers about the advantages of Physical Therapy and contributing to clerical duties within the department.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' physical therapy requirements and develop tailored treatment plans.
Administer treatments and conduct tests as prescribed by physicians to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.
Assist with administrative duties unrelated to patient care, such as clerical tasks, posting charges, and upholding the Rehabilitation Department's cleanliness.
Provide therapeutic rehabilitation services, including patient treatments, education, documentation of treatments and outcomes, and charge entries in accordance with the state practice act.
Develop a treatment plan with a specified timeframe, objectives, and an evaluation of the patient's potential for rehabilitation after receiving a referral from a qualified practitioner.
Consult with physicians as needed for clarification of orders, modifications to patient treatment plans, patient progress, and recommendations for durable medical equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Requirements:
Graduate or holder of a certificate/diploma from an APTA approved school of Physical Therapy or a school recognized by the World Congress of Physical Therapy.
Must be people-oriented and committed to enhancing the patient-experience!
Must be a strong team player and willing to help the department thrive toward the best and most desired health and wellness outcomes!
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred, with acute care experience highly valued.
Acute care and Inpatient experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure:
Must be licensed in the state of Georgia, or possess a current temporary license, or be prepared to pass the state licensure examination.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
