Internal Medicine - Geriatrics Physician

A healthcare network in the New York City is actively seeking Regional Medical Director to join their growing staff at an outpatient clinic in Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead medical care and oversee interdisciplinary teams across Diagnostic and Treatment Centers
• Ensure delivery of quality ambulatory services and support site directors
• Participate in multidisciplinary activities like case conferences and family/team meetings
• Oversee staffing, provider coverage, and recruitment of new providers
• Supervise policies, procedures, and call schedule development
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and manage population health
• Collaborate with external medical organizations and support clinical review activities
• Provide clinical coverage when needed and ensure compliance with managed care principles
• Lead educational and professional development programs for providers

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (Geriatrics preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of staff supervision and experience in value-based care or managed care
• Experience with elderly populations or training through PACE programs
• Active and unrestricted NY State medical license
• Medicaid and Medicare Provider IDs in good standing
