SDET (HYBRID)

SDET GC/USC Contract to Hire Nashville, TN Hybrid $60/HOUR Currently, BGSF Inc. d/b/a Zycron is seeking a SDET - Software Engineer in Test to join our team and work directly on client projects. The project is to support a web based application that handles the supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehousing, stocking, etc. for healthcare companies. There is a mobile application as well that has limited functionality. The Company will be migrating to the cloud- however this role at the moment is to support the existing environment's backlog of features and defects, as well as new development. Cloud experience is not mandatory. Supply chain and healthcare experience are not mandatory. The hiring manager considers this to be a full stack SDET position. This is a 6 month contract to permanent position. Must be local to Nashville, TN or relocate to Nashville, TN at the beginning of employment. Successful candidate will be required to come into the office once or twice per week , and may work remotely the rest of the time in the Nashville, TN area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Build new Automation Test Scripts using Object Oriented Programing languages like C# or Java. Build Web UI Automation using Selenium WebDriver. Build API and database test using C# or Java. Maintain and debug existing automated test scripts. Schedule daily test execution using Jenkins CI/CD tool. Ability to build a test automation framework. Follow established automation and performance testing practices. Work as Quality Lead within an Agile Scrum team . Collaborate with the Scrum team members to develop Agile testing strategies that address areas such as database impacts, functional software use cases, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Help the team prevent defects by baking in quality practices early in the planning and development phases. Defect discovery, prevention and tracking with the Scrum team. Execute Manual Testing when Automation may not be ideal. Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree. 5 years of OOP experience with languages like C#, Java, Python, etc. 5 years of QA experience. Experience with Automation Tools like Selenium. Familiarity with Source Code Repository like GIT, TFS or Subversion. Experience creating and executing complex SQL Queries . Experience testing API (they test by coding - NOT Postman/SoapUI). Experience with Integration Testing. Experience with tools like ALM, Rally, JIRA, etc.
