The Systems Administrator will be a key contributor within the operations organization and responsible for ensuring that infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud is highly available, reliable, and efficient. The Systems Administrator reports directly to the Director of IT and works closely with other stakeholders throughout the organization. This position works on-site in the Headquarters Office in Santa Barbara, CA. Core Responsibilities and Functions: Virtual infrastructure administration and support of virtual systems for all sites including datacenters Network infrastructure administration and support for all sites including datacenters. (Catalyst, Nexus, Load Balancers, DMZ, IDS/IPS, Perimeter Firewalls, site to site VPN, user VPN, ACL management, port security) Web/Data/Email Security administration and support (Web filtering, DLP, email security, spam filtering and phishing) HPE Nimble Storage administration and support at datacenter locations Microsoft Exchange administration and support of data stores, mailbox, security filtering and policy management Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure administration and support of all deployed services across all sites. (DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, permissions management, firewalls, IIS, CA, cluster services) Microsoft SQL administration and support Microsoft Dynamics administration and support Manage Engine Service Desk Administration and support VoIP phone system administration and support AlienVault SIEM event correlation and log management PRTG Network monitoring solution Patch management Advanced diagnostics on network connected hardware and applications Create plans and meet deadlines Participate in systems upgrades and testing 24/7 environment Light travel Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience: Associates Degree and/or related experience 5 years direct experience administering enterprise level systems Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCSE: Core Infrastructure, Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching, CompTIA A, Network, and other/or other relevant certifications Working knowledge of some of the following hardware: HPE Nimble Storage systems, HPE Server hardware, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus networking hardware, Barracuda Load Balancers, Avaya VOIP Phone System, Forcepoint Enterprise Suite, Fortigate VPN/firewalls In-depth knowledge of some of the following software currently supported versions: VMWare ESXi/vSphere 7.x, Microsoft operating systems (workstation/Servers) 2022, Microsoft SQL Server 2022, Microsoft Server Clustering/Clustering Services, MS Active Directory, MS Exchange 2019, Cisco Catalyst/Nexus CLI, Microsoft PowerShell CLI, PRTG Network Monitoring Pay $117,000. - $165,000. annual, depending upon experience.
