Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location. This is a 12 month contract position. Description: Seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer Our client is on a journey to becoming the best IT organization in the airline industry, a journey of transformation. They are changing the way we do business from top to bottom as we strive to create meaningful and innovative solutions and are looking for team members to help us realize our vision Responsibilities: Develop amazingly efficient and effective software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs Enhance and maintain on prem and internal PAAS applications, and actively rework these to AWS along project timelines Help to design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications Build industry standard APIs and help with establishing, consuming & routing calls, connectivity protocols and policy Design, develop and implement architecture patterns that are optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost Look upstream and downstream to see around corners and anticipate future consequences for immediate technical choices Help to establish and grow a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, including TDD/BDD and Test Automation (both Unit and Integration), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment Drive performance improvements including monitoring, detailed metrics, problems, trends, and costs, in order to determine solutions, required process changes, etc. that will make the function more efficient Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance with privacy rules and regulations early in the development Resolve and prevent technical debt Actively engage in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, with an aim to continuously improve Collaborate frequently to share ideas and gain perspective Communicate critical information in a clear and timely manner, listen to others, and seek clarification to confirm shared understanding Initiate and lead code reviews and continuous improvement efforts Create usable documentation/playbook(s) Effectively analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs - communicate these across the team Optimize pace and meet deadlines Administer product upgrades and patches Provide assistance and support other team members where required, including troubleshooting and maintenance of production systems/programs/applications Requirements: 10 years Agile Software Development experience Proficient in Java stack/J2EE, Spring Boot, Quarkus and JPA Experience in Java 17 features Proficient in Frontend UI development with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, React, Angular, Node JS 3 to 5 years of working experience with AWS services (eg-Lambda, S3, EC2, Firehose, DynamoDB, Elasticache, etc.) 3 years of working experience in Redhat Openshift Paas/Kubernetes/Rosa 5 years of experience in developing Microservices architecture 5 years of Work experience of SQL and No-SQL databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB Experience in Web Based Full Stack Development Experience in containerization developing in a Docker and Docker Compose environment Experience writing automated test such as: unit, integration, functional, performance, and end-to-end Experience developing in environments that utilize CI/CD tools for build, test, secure and deploy Experience with deploying applications on AWS using Git CI-CD/ CodePipeline Understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols Familiarity with Maven or Gradle for project building and dependency management Provide technical support for production issues Demonstrated experience with Leading Team on various Projects Demonstrated experience with communication with Business Partners Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders Willingness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and AWS services Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply About Genesis10: Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
