The Scrum Master is responsible for effectively leading Agile teams and demonstrating expertise in a specific functional/technical domain or project delivery. The role encompasses multiple activities that may vary based on the assignment, including overseeing Agile project team delivery of varied project complexity. The Scrum Master's responsibilities include facilitating, coaching, and influencing a self-organizing Agile team to become high-performing, ensuring predictability, on-time delivery of business value, and quality. The role also focuses on enhancing the team's technical acumen, Agile skills (including SAFe Principles and Lean-Agile mindset), delivery skills, and people leadership abilities in influencing individual contributors.#LI-DNIActs as a facilitator for the Scrum team, ensuring that Agile principles and Scrum practices are followed.Organizes and leads Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Guides the team and organization on Agile principles, values, and practices and provides guidance and coaching to the team on how to embrace and implement Agile methodologies.Helps team members understand their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.Identifies and removes any obstacles or roadblocks that may hinder the progress of the Scrum team.Works with stakeholders and other teams to address dependencies and ensures a smooth workflow.Encourages and facilitates collaboration and communication within the team and fosters a culture of transparency, trust, and continuous improvement.Promotes self-organization and empowerment within the team.Collaborates with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensures the team understands and delivers the product vision and goals.Helps the Product Owner in refining and maintaining a healthy and manageable backlog.Tracks and reports key metrics related to team performance and progress.Provides visibility into the team's work and progress through visual tools such as burn-down charts or Kanban boards.Analyzes data and identifies areas for improvement.Drives continuous improvement within the team and organization. Identifies opportunities for enhancing Agile practices, processes, and tools.Fosters a culture of experimentation, learning, and adaptation.Facilitates communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, managers, and other teams.Helps manage expectations, provides updates on project progress, and addresses any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.Promotes Agile principles and practices within the organization.Advocates for Agile values and mindset, and help the organization embrace and institutionalize Agile methodologies.
