Title: IT Service Desk Analyst (Contract)- Job5227 Location: Providence, RI Job Description: Our client located in Providence, RI has an immediate opening for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join their team. The IT Service Desk Analyst will supports the local sales and operations teams and teammates around the globe. The IT Service Desk Analyst will be passionate about IT, have excellent problem-solving skills and work closely with a team of Service Delivery and technology professionals providing employee-centric IT support. Responsibilities Provide technology support to the business and manage internal/external stakeholder relationships. Be the first point of contact for our global team members requiring technical assistance. Responsible for managing Service Desk queues, providing support via telephone and messaging, managing accounts and access, configuring hardware and software along with administrative tasks. Takes initial support phone calls and troubleshoots problems over the phone to achieve first-call resolution. Performs basic hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnostics, and remote repair of hardware and software issues. Deploy new systems (laptops, desktops) as needed in a timely manner, including installing and configuring new systems and repairing existing systems. Work with contractors and vendors when external help is required. Troubleshoots issues with Laptops and Virtual Desktops, including user profiles and VM groups. Provides support for IP and mobile phones. Performs software installations and software updates and resolves licensing issues. Responsible for providing excellent customer service by triaging and prioritizing support requests according to established guidelines. Required Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or at least two (2) years' experience in an Information Technology support role Ability to successfully work alone as well as part of an integrated team Experience operating in a corporate networking environment Experience with a wide range of computer applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Experience in Active Directory account management and access security administration Experience using a service management software solution for tracking and resolving issues, asset management, etc. Experience with current operating systems including Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android Experience with one-on-one staff training in a computer environment Strong problem-solving, influencing, and analytical skills About Delphi-US Delphi-US is a national recruiting firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
