Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves Job Description Sammons has started an initiative with multiple workstreams to modernize their customer service functions with Salesforce as a platform. We are looking for someone who will be instrumental in the growth of the organization by managing and enhancing our middleware technology product portfolio. Someone who is capable of delivering state of the art products (APIs/Event based integrations), but also future focused. The Salesforce Technical Lead will be a key member of our Salesforce team, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. This role will involve not only involve hands-on development, but also providing technical leadership and guidance to junior developers while ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce, its architecture, best practices, and development methodologies, as well as strong technical leadership and communication skills. Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, leveraging expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, and Omni-Channel. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Salesforce developers, mentoring junior members and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Lead discussions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and architect solutions that meet business needs. Architect and design solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform, including declarative configuration, Apex coding, Lightning components, and integrations with external systems. Implement Salesforce data integration patterns to synchronize data between Salesforce and external systems. Conduct code reviews, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Stay current with Salesforce technologies, releases, and industry trends, and make recommendations for adopting new features and functionalities. Support agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews. Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development and provide guidance on technical architecture, solution design, and implementation strategies. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements and drive value. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide support during testing and deployment, and ensure the stability and performance of Salesforce applications. This person will be aligned to Enterprise Applications across shared users (100's-1000's of users) that supports both annuities and life. This team is building out a new application for the onboarding system and will also be supporting the Enterprise as they work to implement Salesforce CRM and modernize their customer service center.
