Job description TITLE: Technical Support Specialist COMPENSATION: $20 - $24 while on Contract ROLE TYPE: Contract to hire LOCATION: La Vergne, TN (REMOTE 2 Days/Week after training) OVERVIEW: Technical Support Specialist We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join an industry leading organization to collaborate with technicians that are working hands-on the products in the field. The ideal person will be a great communicator that has the patience and ability to communicate with those working hands on to collectively troubleshoot the equipment. This role ultimately is key in providing excellent customer service to the clients of the organization, if you have experience working in similar roles or have spent time working hands-on on in the field and are looking for an alternative to transition to an office-based role, please reach out to learn more. Our client will be returning to the office later this summer and this person will work from the office at least 4 days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide quality technical support to our clients directly or indirectly through interactions with customer's and service providers Decipher technical product information and relay troubleshooting information via telephone to technicians or customers working directly on the product. Serve as a technical resource for the product for internal and external service partners. Collaborate with Technical Product Support team to continually improve internal processes to increase efficiency and deliver quality customer service. Communicate with other teams as needed to share customer/technician feedback that could result in improvements to company products or processes Process basic communications via email or other basic computer software between service technicians, clients, and internal team members to ensure proper information is conveyed related to product servicing. REQUIREMENTS: Exposure to a technical support environment for any sort of equipment, machinery, products, or other items that may need some sort of troubleshooting. Patience to communicate with various technicians in the field as you collaborate with them to solve the problem at hand. You will have the access to all information to communicate to the technician running through the hands-on portion of the troubleshooting process. 2 years of related work experience (Similar support role or working as a hands-on as a technician in communication with technical support personnel) Preferred exposure to HVAC, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Commercial, Restaurant, Industrial or other similar environments.
