Unit Information:• Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.• High acuity of PCU and ICU. Candidates with PCU/ICU experience preferred. May float to Med/Surg.Schedule:• No set schedule, no set weekends, no block schedule.• Facility determines the complete schedule, with the possibility of working every weekend. Must be flexible.• Maximum 7 straight days off.• 14-week contract required if taking 7 days off.Patient Diagnoses:• Solid Tumor• Orthopedic Oncology• Thoracic OncologySpecial Procedures/Unit Details:•18J is a 36 bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.-Pediatric patients are cared for on this unit but are extremely rare and would likely be cared for by perm staff.
