**Job Description:**
- Provide care in an 86-bed acute care facility, specializing in various service lines such as Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Imaging and Laboratory Services, Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, Women's Services, and subspecialty care.- Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions to ensure seamless integration into the unit.- Work in a unit expanding from 8 to 12 beds, ensuring patient care with a 4:1 patient ratio.- Deliver care to adult and geriatric populations, managing diagnoses like sepsis, post-surgical conditions, urologic procedures, respiratory failure, CHF, and cirrhosis.- Exhibit proficiency in IV starts, NGs, foleys, chest tubes, and using EHR systems like Paragon.- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude, contributing as a helpful and high-functioning team member.- Adhere to the dress code of grey scrubs while on duty.- Be prepared to float to med/surg tele and sitter needs as required by census.- Work under the supervision of the RN Supervisor and participate in expanding the unit's capabilities.
