Texas Hospital seeks Emergency Medicine physician coverage

The 333-bed hospital provides comprehensive services, including a Level III Trauma Center, accredited Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, and an MBSAQIP-accredited surgical weight loss program. It also features two standalone emergency departments.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine
• ABEM or AOBEM
• Active Texas Medical License and DEA

Practice Setting:

• Main Hospital has 333 beds and a Level III Trauma center
  • 30 ED beds with 40,000 annual visits
  • 2.1-2.2 PPH per physician
  • 25% admission rate
  • 9-10 hour shifts (7a-5p, 11a-9p, 5p-3a, 9p-7a)
  • 4 physicians per shift and 2 APPs
  • Full-service support
• Two affiliated Free Standing Emergency Rooms
  • Census is 70 patients per day
  • 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a)
  • 5% admission rate
  • 2 physicians per shift and 2 APP'
