Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room, assisting with surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety.
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including setting up equipment, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring aseptic conditions.
Collaborate with surgical teams to assist with procedures, maintain a sterile field, and anticipate the needs of surgeons and other team members.
Monitor patient vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration and airway management as needed during surgery.
Provide postoperative care, including wound care, monitoring recovery, and educating patients and their families on postoperative instructions and self-care.
Required Qualifications
Current RN license
BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
2 years of recent OR (Operating Room) nursing experience.
Strong communication and adaptability skills.
