Information Security Representative Requisition ID 2024-13323 Location US-WA-Silverdale Seat Location EB Bangor WA Trident Site Trade Security and Transportation Shift 1st Security Clearance Required Top Secret Number of Openings 1 Overview The Program Security Alternate Cognizant Security Officer (ACSO) will be responsible for supporting all aspects of security associated with Government established Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Thorough knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) and other guidance for administration of SCI programs. Develop/Implement Standard Operating Procedures, Security Test Plans, Treaty Plans, Transportation Plans and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans. Ensure proper protection, use and dissemination of classified documents and material by enforcing SCI administrative, personnel and physical rules and by developing best security practices and procedures. Conduct security briefings, indoctrinations and debriefings. Administer a security education, training and awareness (SETA) program and oversee a self-inspection program. Provide continuing security guidance in accordance with policy amendments to ensure all individuals are kept apprised of the requirements and guidelines for protecting classified information. Be familiar with and have a working knowledge of Special Security Officer (SSO) duties/functions for classified programs. Interact with DoD and other Government agencies on all security matters relating to classified material as well as briefing all levels of management on classification issues and classification requirements for sensitive technologies and processes. Working knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Web Application and other automated databases associated with specific functions to support office and security operations and produce a variety of documents and reports. Act as Security Liaison between the Government and Industry on all matters of Physical Security related to SCI programs. Represent Electric Boat Corporation's Security Policy and position at contractor/sub-contractor meetings and in other matters as required. Candidate will be subject to a government security background investigation. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Related Associates Degree or a minimum of 5 years' field experience working in closed areas as a security representative with Government and/or Industry is required. Must pass a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph. Moderate travel is required. Must possess an active Top Secret level security clearance based upon a completed Tier 5 Investigation with SCI-ICD704 eligibility. Must meet and maintain clearance eligibility requirements and be approved for access to classified information.
