Title: Splunk administrator / Developer
Job Description:
The candidate should have experience in the configuration, deployment, and administrating of Splunk Enterprise in a multi-site setting across on-premise and Public Cloud environments. The candidate should be well experienced to monitoring and observability of IT assets and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Splunk, Linux OS, Python and bash.Possess a deep understanding about collecting and routing data and its integration with multi-clusterSplunk environment.Splunk administrator role will support management and maintain data, ensuring that all consumers of the data have what they need when they need it.Directly collaborate with End Users, Command Center, Production Support teams and all product stakeholders to understand business requirements, help drive alignment, and build thoughtful solutions throughout your team.Ability to interface with all levels of stakeholders both internal and externally.Ability to coordinate the work and activities of others; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize work.Educational Requirements:
University (Degree) Preferred.Experience/ Qualifications Preferred:
Expert at installing, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting different Splunk components.Experience in configuring alerts, knowledge objects, dashboards and writing complex queries.Experience in Application Monitoring and Observability for multiple products at large organizations.Expert level in SPL, regex, bash, and Python. Any other similar scripting languages are a plus.Experience integrating cloud technologies with Splunk and monitoring tools.Experience working in multi cloud platforms AWS, GCP, AZURE and Kubernetes.
