The Warehouse Associate assists with shipping and receiving parts, inventory counting and control, and moving materials within the warehouse. Responsibility will include test and software update of electrical components (such as computers and projectors).

Pull correct parts per sales ordersReview customer shipping requirements and perform tasks to accomplish requirementsHandle and pack outgoing shipments per customer according to packing instructionsVerifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenanceVerifies incoming product against pack-slip and receives Purchase Orders into the computer systemReceives returns (RMA)Maintains complete paperworkLifts, carries, pushes, and pulls packages and material on a continuous and repetitive basis 10lbs to 75lbs+Perform accurate material handling procedures at all timesPull and stage inventory against sales and work ordersPrepare computer systems and other technology (hardware and software) for shipping by following established proceduresGeneral maintenance and housekeeping, including maintaining warehouse suppliesAssist distribution and logistics supervisor in coordinating shipping details with freight carriersProvide shipping information, on an as-needed basis, to various departments such as Client Services, Sales and MarketingPerform activities in all areas of material distributionOperates warehouse equipment in a safe mannerDemonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the warehouse as assignedMaintain open, professional and productive dialogueProactively make suggestions to drive continuous improvementCollaborate with team members to achieve goalsWorks under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional areaPerform all other duties as deemed necessary by the department manager or supervisorWork Environment

Required Education, Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent1 year experience as an inventory or warehouse clerkPossess moderate understanding of general aspects of the jobIntermediate computer proficiency to complete things such as electronic time card, operating various shipping systems such as UPS and FedExExperience with inventory transactions and inventory controlAbility to lift 75 poundsMust be able to perform multiple, non-technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills to meet changing job conditionsAbility to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methodsAbility to work proactively and positively with a high-level of independence and internal motivationAbility to work overtimeAbility to operate forkliftValid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordMust pass background, drug test and motor vehicle reportPreferred Education, Experience & Skills
Experience with Fishbowl (inventory control software)Experience in an original equipment-manufacturing environmentExperience with basic carpentry (production of small wood assemblies using miter saw, screws, etc.)
