The Role: Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Node.js developer to serve our diverse base of global clients. We have these locations for this role: Hartford, CT - Charlotte, NC and Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days per week) Work Authorization Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Roles & Responsibilities: A skilled Node JS backend developer with a strong understanding of NestJS, Typescript and SQL server building performant services. A master of crafting reusable, user-centric UI/UX components using ReactJS within the NextJS framework. Experience designing microservices. Proficiency in NestJS (using TypeOrm). Familiarity with REST best practices. Agile methodology understanding (Scrum). Qualifications: 7 Years of experience. A self-motivated learner, continuously updating your knowledge with the latest advancements in the NodeJS ecosystem. A tech enthusiast with a passion for contributing to meaningful projects. A skilled backend developer with a strong understanding of NestJS, TypeScript, and building performant services. A master of crafting reusable, user-centric UI/UX components using ReactJS within the NextJS framework. A database guru with expertise in design, optimization, and data integrity (SQL Server, Postgres a plus). A collaborative team player who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment, sharing knowledge and giving constructive feedback, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - 141,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
