The impact you will make in our faith-based, mission-driven culture will cultivate excellence and achieve professional fulfillment united in humankindness.As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:+ Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.+ Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.+ Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.Day to Day duties:+ Circulate and/or Scrub on all cases.+ Ortho heavy Dept. totals/trauma/ sports Medicine. Spine, Ortho Spine w/navigation, Podiatry, Plastics, Endo, Cysto, Urology, GI, Robotics (DaVinci XI/ROSA), Gen, ENT, Hands GYN, Urology, Bariatrics.+ Associates are cross trained for all services, no specialized service Teams.+ Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.+ Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases.+ Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.8 OR Suites +1 Cysto Room+1minor procedure roomApprox. 400-450+ cases per monthSchedule- 36 hrs/Week- Variable shift times/days per surgical Volume and current unit needs.Call required- Approx. 4-6 call shifts per 6 week schedule block. May VaryWeekend Call is 0700-1930, 1900-0730, weekday call 1900-073030 Min call back radiusQualifications:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:+ RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact,+ **Colorado Only:** RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. Upon issuance of a new multistate license, the former license is inactivated. Built on the pillars of convenience, wellness and person-centered care, we offer inpatient and outpatient care at one site, with an emphasis on preventive health, wellness and health education.The surgery department at St. Anthony North Health Campus Hospital consists of 8 OR rooms, 1 cysto room, 1 minor procedure room, a GI room, and a room for pain management. We are an ortho heavy department - fracture management, total hips, knees, and shoulders, and the ortho service continues to grow. We also perform general, ENT, GYN, urology, spine and plastics. The patient mix is comprised mainly of adult surgical patients. Patient care is provided for adult, geriatric, adolescent, and pediatric patients. Our mission is to provide safe care to the surgical patient.
