Lead Salesforce Developer Location: Remote This position will be responsible for development and configuration for various aspects of a global Salesforce instance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data integration, CI/CD, and Test Automation. The ideal candidate will be able to work cross functionally in a highly matrixed, validated setting. This role will understand the complexity of our systems, how to integrate Salesforce into our systems, and help with deployment activities. This position requires advanced knowledge and understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Salesforce platform as well as the ability to work within cross-functional teams from different businesses and various countries in a complex organization with differences in language, culture and time zones. Responsibilities: Implements and supports various technical aspects of a Salesforce program: data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development. Responsible for systems integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement. Translates business requirements into Salesforce solutions and ensure delivered solution matches global business requirements. Develops high-performance technical solutions on the Salesforce platform. Requirements: Minimum three (3) combined years of development and/or functional experience on the Salesforce Platform in a private, public, government or military environment. Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. Additional Skills: Preferred bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent. Certified Salesforce Developer or Advanced Developer is preferred. Experience in technical project management and/or scrum framework. In-depth understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Salesforce platform. Strong technical foundation: advanced structured programming (APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java), relational database concepts and structures, structured system analysis and design methods, etc. Understands web services and other technologies that can be used to transport data in an enterprise environment and interact with Salesforce. API management software experience in strategy, implementation, and governance. Good judgment, and decision-making skills to objectively understand an issue and negotiate a resolution. Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and deliver results in a high-pressure, high-profile environment.
