Staff Software Dev QA Engineer

Research, analyze, design the implementation logic and feature solutions for FortiNAC.
Create clear feature design documents and deliver the design solutions to the team.
Work closely with software development team for feature solutions and conduct the Acceptance testing based on the feature design.
Work closely with the DevOps team to set up FortiNAC environments to achieve the research tasks.
Design user stories and test cases based on feature requirements and user cases.
Assist in diagnosing customer issues and identifying duplicate customer-using scenarios. Provide tier-2 support for the team's products.
Execute test cases manually and automatically. Analyze test results and report issues to the development team.
Provide end-to-end quality assurance solutions for FortiNAC to the development, marketing, sales team, etc.
Required Experience:
CS/EE background is essential.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills and strong troubleshooting ability is required.
Strong knowledge of networking is required, including but not limited to the below points
HTTP knowledge at the protocol level, including API usage.
TCP/IP networking, firewalls, switching and routing is essential
Ethernet, VLANs, DHCP, SNMP, 802.11 wireless protocol, L2-L3 protocols, HA, network management
Windows AD, LDAP, and RADIUS Server and Protocol
5+ years of working experience as a software development or Software QA Engineer is preferred.
Strong knowledge in DevOps, CI/CD, and IT Infrastructure.
Familiar with Unix/Linux environment.
Familiar with Docker containers, system virtualization and AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.
Familiar with firewalls, switches, wireless controllers and wireless access points is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Familiar with setting up a network environment is a plus.
Familiar with WAN/LAN technology is a plus.
Familiar with web development is a plus.
