Job Duties and Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable secure and reliable cloud solutions using AWS technologies Lead all aspects of the architecture and deployment of cloud infrastructure to ensure efficient performance and cost-efficiency Provide technical mentorship and support to development teams on standard processes for cloud architecture Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation Ensure compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework to optimize cloud environments Run and configure AWS Virtual Private Network (VPN) for secure connectivity Implement and handle AWS Backup solutions to ensure data protection and recovery Apply Amazon EBS for scalable storage solutions and lead data lifecycle Secure critical information using AWS Secret Manager and AWS Key Management Service (KMS) Deploy and run AWS EC2 instances to support various applications and workloads Configure and handle AWS VPC for network isolation and security Coordinate AWS RDS for scalable and managed database solutions Supervise and audit cloud activities using AWS CloudTrail and AWS CloudWatch Optimize content delivery using AWS CloudFront and run DNS services with AWS Route53 Implement and handle Amazon S3 for scalable storage and data management Ensure high availability and load balancing using AWS Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) Run user access and permissions using AWS IAM Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives Provide ongoing support and fix for cloud infrastructure issues Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends to continuously improve cloud solutions Position Qualifications: At least 12 to 16 years of work experience. Required certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 11/01/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $79,000 to $134,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
