If youre passionate about making a tangible impact and enjoy working with innovative solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you Key Responsibilities: Software Integration: Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software across diverse operating systems. Documentation and Support: Generate comprehensive documentation for the full software stack and update software for sustainment support. System Administration: Apply basic Linux system administration skills, including shell scripting, to manage and maintain system performance. Testing and Characterization: Execute test codes to evaluate and characterize software performance, ensuring optimal functionality. Product Ownership: Provide software product ownership for HPC tools, maintaining high standards of performance and reliability. Collaboration: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, switching between various architectural paradigms to meet project needs. Configuration Management: Utilize CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking systems to maintain and support software integration efforts. Key Technologies and Skills: Core Technologies: Linux CLI, Bash/Python scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Rook. System Monitoring: Experience with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana. Automation and IaC: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible. Cluster Management: In-depth experience troubleshooting and administering large Linux clusters and Kubernetes environments. Version Control: Experience using Git for version control. Collaboration Tools: Proficiency with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence). Qualifications: Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least eight (8) years of experience in software integration within a heterogeneous operating system environment. OR Five (5) years of full-time Computer Science-related work, with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience. OR An industry-recognized professional certification may substitute as one (1) year of experience. A Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience. Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Linux, containerization technologies, and troubleshooting large-scale systems. Desired Skills: Experience with Helm, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
