Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years (first-time travelers are welcome) License: Valid RN license (WA or Compact) Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting Job Description: - NICU RN required to work in a Short Term Acute Care / Level II Trauma Center / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. - The position may require floating between units. - No on-call is required. - Weekends are required with varied scheduling. - Expected patient ratios are 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3. - Hospital uses Epic for charting. - Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours. - The hospital has a tiered travel compliance protocol. - Modules are required and are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent pre-start and annually. - COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. - The flu vaccine status is currently unknown. - Scrub colors for RNs are unrestricted. - Facility has a total of 629 staffed beds and is a teaching hospital. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities, and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
