Feeding Tampa Bay serves ten counties in West Central Florida and is a leader in hunger relief across our region. Last year, we served 85 million meals to our neighbors through direct service and a network of 400+ food pantry partners.

SUMMARY
The Feeding Tampa Bay Grants team is responsible for the successful acquisition and stewardship of grants for Feeding Tampa Bay - writing, research, preparation, execution, submission, tracking, and reporting. Our team is dynamic, deadline-driven, and evidence-based. The Grants team is critical in securing complex funding opportunities to ensure that the essential functions of all teams can be executed and our neighbors receive the resources they need.
This role provides critical data management, tracking, and organizational support to ensure accurate record-keeping and effective management of grant and donor-related information. The
Data & Administrative Support Intern
will work closely with our Donor Operations and grants teams, helping maintain consistency in data practices, supporting interdepartmental collaboration, and ensuring alignment with funders' requirements.
Full-time and part-time placements are available depending on the intern's degree program and educational requirements. In-person hours are required under the supervision of an assigned supervisor. Virtual and work-from-home opportunities may be available with prior approval.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain detailed records of funding sources in Salesforce, ensuring data is clean, accurate, and current.Track grant information comprehensively in tracking tools, capturing submission timelines, reporting requirements, and funding statuses.Regularly update CRM and grant tracking systems to ensure cross-departmental consistency.Standardize data entry and categorization practices across Salesforce and other platforms used by the grants team.Maintain and update a comprehensive Grants/Proposals Calendar to track inquiries, contacts, deadlines, and reporting requirements.Support the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports by ensuring data accuracy for grant submissions and reports.Schedule and coordinate interdepartmental meetings to address project needs and prioritize grant funding options.Organize and support collaborative initiatives across the development team to ensure accurate record-keeping and data management.Requirements

To perform this internship successfully, candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
Preferred Majors : Data Management or Data Science, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Internal Communications, Information Systems, or Computer Science.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications, with strong skills in Excel or other spreadsheet tools.Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Ability to work with individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds in culturally diverse environments.Ability to manage and document deliverables from multiple sources.Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
