We are hiring for a Second Shift (Friday-Tuesday-4:00 PM-12:30 AM) Warehouse Associate to help us in our warehouse. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, picking products from locations, packing outbound orders, and loading shipments.A successful Warehouse Associate is hard-working, organized and detail-oriented. You should be reliable, dependable, have a good work ethic, and be self-motivated and a team player.
DUTIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES
Receive products from carriers, off-loading trucks, coordinating devanning of containersMeasure and quantify products coming into the warehouseFollow a picklist to pull products from locationsUse a computer to navigate our warehouse management system via web browserUse barcode scanner to verify accurate product and quantity of product shippedAssemble boxes, fill with product, seal, and apply shipping labels.Properly label and tag warehouse inventoryReplenish inventory stock, as requiredLoad and unload product within designated time framesMaintain a clean work environmentWork in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouseREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities, as neededBasic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperworkAbility to operate technology equipment including Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners to manage inventoryPrevious knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handledDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a teamAbility to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilitiesAbility to communicate professionally, both verbally and writtenPREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehouse environmentSome experience operating fork lift truck, order picker, or EPJ preferred, but not necessaryPHYSICAL CAPABILITIES and REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods of time through hot and cold temperaturesMust be willing and able to safely lift up to 30 pounds, and slide, push or pull cases weighing up to 50 lbsRequired to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the companyMust be able to safely bend, stoop, and reach.An ability to perform repetitive motions like scanning, building and packing boxes, or loading product onto a pallet.Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or move small objects.
