Two years previous experience preferred.Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.The registry eligible technologist must take and pass the national test within one year of hire date.Has successfully completed on the job training or has been registered/certified in any subspecialties before performing these exams unassisted, including DEXA.BLS Certification Required.Registered/certified CT Technologist required.Unit Specific Information
Operates all equipment in the Radiology DepartmentSelects technical factors on an individual patient basisProtects patients according to X-ray Department policies and procedures.Documents patient responses to pertinent information.Cleans rooms following each examination.Restocks linen and supplies as needed.Cooperates with all Department personnel for the best possible patient care.
