TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS (CCRN preferred) Must-Have: - 1-year CVICU experience (post-orientation completion) Job Description: - Work in a state-of-the-art medical facility with 355 beds, inclusive of specialty centers such as Brain, Cancer, Heart, Lung, Orthopedics, and Surgical Weight Loss, as well as Women's Center and Level 3 NICU. - Operate in a CVICU department on the 2nd floor with a patient ratio of 2:1 and occasionally 1:1. - Manage sophisticated equipment including Impella, IABP, and CRRT. - Work with a diverse patient population predominantly comprising adult and geriatric patients. - Collaborate with a team possessing strong critical thinking skills. - Engage in a rotating float schedule as per facility requirements. - Handle common diagnoses including CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and Carotids. - Attend scheduled orientations twice monthly. - Adhere to a professional dress code with scrubs in any color. - Work every other weekend or as needed to meet facility demands.
