Job Title: Middleware Support System Administrator Location: St Paul, MN -Hybrid Duration: 12 Months Contract Interview Process: Interviews will be conducted via [MS Teams/Zoom] Key Responsibilities: IBM Middleware Product Support: Build, configure, deploy, and support IBM middleware products, including WebSphere Application Server Network Deploy (WAS ND), IBM HTTP Server, IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), IBM MQSeries, IBM Integration Bus (IIB/ACE), and IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM). Custom-Developed Software Support: Provide experienced support for custom-developed software (e.g., ESB METS built on IBM WebSphere, BPM, Informatica ActiveVOS, Merative Cram, and HHS Audit/Content/Notify). High Availability Systems: Implement and support high availability, recoverable, and secure systems, including the use of F5 load balancers. Automated Deployment: Create and use automated deployment scripts for middleware applications (WAS, BPM, ACE, WTX) using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible. Integration & Security Support: Build integration between business program software and enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Respond to break/fix issues, troubleshoot and resolve server hardware and operating system problems, and apply corrective actions. Monitoring & Deployment: Monitor supported systems and deploy code updates to middleware and in-house software packages to meet testing and release schedules. Middleware System Updates: Apply required fix-packs to WAS, HTTP, BPM, and ACE servers and ensure consistency in architectural topologies across all environments. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical architectural design documents. Leadership Reporting: Provide updates to MNIT, MNsure, and DHS leadership on system performance, issues, and project statuses. Project Management: Manage small to medium-level projects, ensuring timely execution and completion. Knowledge Transfer: Provide ongoing knowledge transfer and mentorship to team members. Minimum Qualifications: Informatica ActiveVOS Expertise: 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and operating Informatica ActiveVOS. IBM Integration Bus-ACE Expertise: 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and operating IBM Integration Bus (ACE/App Connect Enterprise or IIB/WebSphere Message Broker). Healthcare Program Software Experience: 5 years of experience working with HHS Integration Software, including HHS Content, HHS Notify, and HHS Audit (formerly under EngagePoint branding). Desired Skills: Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. IBM Middleware Expertise: 8 years of experience in analysis, architectural design, and/or implementation of WebSphere Application Server Network Deploy topologies, IBM messaging software, business process software, and service bus software. Linux OS Administration: 7 years of experience administering Linux OS environments, including scripting and system operation. IAM Integration with Middleware: 6 years of experience working with IBM Middleware hosted systems integrated with Oracle Identity and Access Management solutions. Merative Cram Experience: 6 years of experience working with the Merative Cram platform. IBM BPM Experience: 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and operating IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) or Business Automation Workflow (BAW). F5 Load Balancer Expertise: 4 years of experience working with F5 Big-IP solutions for load balancing and web service security management. Change Management Software Support: 3 years of experience supporting, maintaining, and operating IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. Work Environment: Standard work hours are Monday - Friday. The contractor must provide their own equipment for remote work, including a reliable internet connection, phone, and computer.
