POSITION SUMMARYThe Brand Manager is a dynamic, analytical self-starter who will lead business execution on a day-to-day basis to drive growth and profitability. This individual will be integrated into daily operations to make decisions and drive action in support of the company’s goals and objectives.
The Brand Manager is responsible for leading key marketing initiatives including: annual brand plans, new product development, marketing & communication strategies, and consumer & industry analyses. This individual is responsible for developing and executing product & promotional initiatives across a portfolio of brands to deliver on the needs of the consumer. Additionally, the Brand Manager is responsible for maintaining cross-functional relationships with both internal key stakeholders and external agency partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage annual plans to deliver growth and profitability of HCC brands
Analyze data, including sales results, market research and category trends to identify business insights that inform strategies to unlock new opportunities
Lead project management process for new item development and commercialization
Develop and execute marketing communication plans and channel/customer marketing programs
Own the relationship with our internal cross-functional partners and external agencies
Understand and champion our brands with customers and internal stakeholders, including senior leadership
Assist sales teams with selling materials, syndicated data analysis and retailer presentations
Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
Maintain regular on-site attendance

Quantitative, analytical focused with ability to analyze and manipulate data to uncover insights and provide actionable recommendations
Excellent communication skills and ability to tell a comprehensive story
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional partners
Self-starter, hands-on personality with a bias for challenging the status quo
Exhibits a passion and intellectual curiosity to continuously seek out opportunities to strengthen and grow the business
Collaborative with a focus on driving for excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
4+ years of experience in brand management and marketing, preferably in CPG
Experience in project management, new product development and commercialization
Experience analyzing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, etc) with experience delivering actionable reporting and insights
Experience developing & executing marketing programs such as: paid social and search, couponing, advertising and in-store display, etc
Experience leading cross-functional teams and agencies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
