Section 1: Position Summary
This position will be responsible for financial analysis including recurring monthly reporting as well as projects. The projects include, but are not limited to, compilation and reporting of the annual budget and profitability studies for various business segments.
Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Research and document expense variances for monthly reporting.
Assist business leaders with calculations and expense review for the Annual Operating Budget.
Prepare board package reports for the annual Operating Budget
Ad hoc analysis as requested by senior finance leadership.
Prepare business expense and profitability studies to assist business in pricing and expense decisions.
Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
Cognos TM1 reporting experience a plus.
Experience with forecasting, budgeting and analysis.
Meet deadlines as set by management.
Able to successfully balance multiple projects concurrently
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external clients including senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required, Masters and/or CPA preferred.
3+ years of accounting/finance work experience
