Key Responsibilities:Network Management: Design, implement, and manage local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) to ensure optimal performance and availability.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, analyze traffic, and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.Security: Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard sensitive data.Low Voltage Planning: Generate low voltage diagrams for branch locations and coordinate with onsite contractors to ensure plans are executed to specifications.Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to users regarding network-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution of problems.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members on various projects, including system upgrades and software installations.Vendor Management: Act as a liaison with vendors and service providers to manage SLAs and ensure service quality.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology; 2-4+ years of progressive relevant experience in Networking will be considered in lieu of degree.Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer) are preferred.Proficiency with network management tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), routing, switching, and network security best practices.Knowledge of Cisco/Meraki network equipmentKnowledge of Microsoft Azure NetworkingExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
