You'll report to the Manager of Solutions Architects for the Inside SA Program and will be based in one of our offices in: Seattle/Bellevue, WA, San Francisco (HQ)/Mountain View (Bay area), Chicago, or New York.

The impact you will have:

Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, providing technical and business value to Databricks customers in collaboration with Account Executives.

Operate as an expert in big data analytics to excite customers about Databricks. You will develop into a ‘champion’ and trusted advisor on multiple issues of architecture, design, and implementation to lead to the successful adoption of the Databricks Lakehouse platform.

Scale best practices in your field and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and help build the Databricks community in your region by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

Grow your knowledge and expertise to the level of a technical and/or industry specialist.

What we look for:

Minimum of 1 year experience in an external customer facing or internal shared services role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience (2+ years)

Hands on experience with Python, Java, or Scala and proficiency in SQL

Experience with Big Data technologies (Ex: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and architectures is a plus

Ability to interact with customer confidently and professionally

Can meet expectations for technical training and role-specific outcomes within 6 months of hire

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.

Zone 1 Pay Range:

$94,300 — $166,900 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range:

$94,300 — $166,900 USD

Zone 3 Pay Range:

$94,300 — $166,900 USD

Zone 4 Pay Range:

$94,300 — $166,900 USD
