Parkwood Behavioral Health System

(affiliated with Universal Health Services) provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region and has been in business since 1987. We are located in Desoto County, in the northwest corner of Mississippi and approximately 7 miles south of Memphis. As treatment options and patient care innovations have continued to become available we strive to provide the highest level of quality care to our patients. At Parkwood, our caring staff focus on providing compassionate care to meet the needs of individuals, families and communities. We offer a full continuum of care that provides treatment options to meet the individual needs of adults, adolescents and children. Parkwood Behavioral Health System includes a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

NOTE: This position's work location is fexible; it can be a fully remote or partially remote position, based on organizational needs; the on-site work location is based at Parkwood Behavioral Health's hospital campus.

The

Executive Assistant

is responsible for providing administrative support to the UHS Division Senior Vice President of BH Operations. Responsibilities involve scheduling, overseeing the planning and organizing of various projects and activities as directed by the SVP. Sensitivity to confidential matters and superior communication and interpersonal skills are required. Additional responsibilities involve managing the executive's schedules and communications; prioritizing emails and phone calls; taking notes at meetings, gathering documents for presentations; coordinating travel arrangements; drafting and editing business documents, screening and prioritizing incoming communications; organizing budget meetings, conferences, and various events. This position can be fully remote or partially remote, based on organizational needs.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: GED or high school diploma. Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

Minimum f ive (5) years' of experience reporting to a senior level executive or team. Must have superior knowledgeable of communication platforms (i.e., ZOOM, Team Meetings, etc.) Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
