Criteria such as the candidates qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.**We Take Care of Our People:**Paid Time Off **I** 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing **I** Health and Wellness Benefits **I** Learning and Development Opportunities **I** Referral Program **I** Competitive Pay **I** Recognition **I** Employee Stock Purchase Plan (https://curtisswright.com/investor-relations/overview/default.aspx) **I** Inclusive & Supportive Culture (https://careers.curtisswright.com/en/who-we-are/)**Your Challenge:**+ As a member of the proposal team, the primary responsibility is to support the Business Unit and Proposal Manager with all cost and pricing aspects of individual proposals, including:+ Capture engineering Basis of Estimates (BOE)+ Product cost capture from actuals and/or Product Manager inputs+ Working with procurement as needed to gather and verify material cost basis.+ Manage and capture costing for any 3rd party items that may be required.+ Coordinate with team to provide proposal needs and validation of material costing.+ Secure timely approvals for proposal pricing.+ Develop strategies and implement solutions for most efficient costing/pricing models with an eye to repeatability, considering market factors and eventual risk & reward of offered pricing/terms.+ Support/Lead targeted costing and pricing models/analysis/closed loop analysis (post award actuals compared to bid values) and provide lessons learned and recommendations to the applicable business units.+ Ongoing/timely support to various stakeholders (BU Directors, Product Managers, Proposal Management) as required.+ Works with Finance to optimize proposal cost and pricing tools with objective to make tools more effective, common, and supportive in the assessment of pricing model strategies.**What You Bring:**+ Must have superior Excel/Word and PowerPoint skills.+ Extensive costing background experience.+ Excellent communication skills (oral and written).+ Able to work effectively as an individual contributor as well as part of a team, ability to work with cross-functional teams, to follow procedures and use system tools.+ A self-starter, able to work independently and manage concurrent multiple bids and proposals with dynamic priorities.+ Demonstrated ability and resourcefulness in solving often ambiguous problems with little supervision.+ Experience with cost/revenue analysis and audits is considered an asset.+ Excellent analytical skills to collect data, understand significance and explain issues; able to take initiatives and recommend solutions / process improvements.+ Excellent technical ability, including ability to work with integrated ERP systems, preferably SAP.+ Ability to present and defend costing / pricing recommendations to senior leadership.+ Ability to embrace change with enthusiasm for continuous improvement.**Technical Knowledge:**+ A post-secondary diploma/degree from a college or university in Accounting, Finance and/or Business+ Experience in proposal cost development and cost analysis.+ Knowledge of ProPricer would be an asset.+ Familiarity with Military and Aerospace market and customer base is desired, but not mandatory.+ 5-7 years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing or high technology environment; or a combination#LI-TS1#LI-Remote#IND_No unsolicited agency submittals please.
