Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, 11.5 hours each Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week Experience: - Two years of maternal and child experience - IV insertion and phlebotomy skills - Experience with conscious sedation License: - New York State RN License - Primary Source Verification Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: - IV/Phlebotomy experience - Ability to speak, read, and write in English Job Description: - Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit - Utilize skills in IV insertion and phlebotomy to support patient care - Administer conscious sedation safely and effectively - Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver maternal and child healthcare - Maintain all necessary documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
