Job DescriptionInstallation and configuration:
Installing and configuring IBM MQ, Java-based tools, and MQ servletsMaintenance:
Operating and maintaining the system after installationPerformance:
Monitoring MQ performance and health checkTroubleshooting:
Troubleshooting using MQ and MB error logs, event viewer, and Queue Manager Error logsSecurity:
Setting up security using the Object Authority Manager and running security scriptsDevOps Automation:
CI/CD Pipeline Tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, Ansible & Terraform ScriptingPlatform:
Basic knowledge in Cloud Computing (GCP) and Well versed in Platform infrastructure Linux / Windows SystemsBackup and recovery: Developing backup and recovery proceduresDocumentation:
Maintaining and documenting MQ installs and upgrades on various platformsTraining:
Training team members on WebSphere Product supportOn-call support:
Providing 24x7 on-call support on rotation basisMigration:
Facilitating migration of MQ to higher versionsArchitecture:
Architecting and designing HA for MQ, clustering, and workload balancingCollaboration:
Working closely with Systems Architects and Application architects
Qualifications
These duties are too complex and specialized to be performable with a bachelor's degree related to computer science or computer information systems or information technology.
