SAP Business Analyst - Data BASIC PURPOSE The Business Analyst leads and/or participates in the activities of Data Migration from legacy systems to SAP and related application solutions and functionality which effectively support all LEAR Divisions in all Regions. The SAP Business Analyst - Data is responsible for: Ensuring that ALL legacy data sources are accounted for Working with the Business and Process teams to help with data mapping and ensuring all rules are complete Perform and/or provide direction to perform Data Extracts Perform and/or provide direction to perform Data Transformations Perform and/or provide direction to Load Data This role is a senior business analyst position that can lead teams, understands data migration and data quality concepts Required Skills: 5 years' experience with SAP Master Data Migrations with exposure in all modules (MM, PP, SD, QM and FICO) in a project environment (3-5 full project cycles) Automotive industry experience a plus Extensive knowledge of Master Data Concepts Ability to support and identify process improvements related to Data Migration Ability to develop/support functional specifications with functional team Knowledge of the integration points of data throughout SAP System modules WM/ SD / PP / QM / FI Knowledge of SAP workbench, LSMW and IDOC-processing Bachelors or other degree in Business Administration or Computer Science (or equivalent education) and/or a minimum of 3 years working in an SAP Data Migration project Desired Skills: SAP Data Services or other ETL Tool, SAP Data Intelligence, SQL Server and SQL Programming, Microsoft PowerBI or other Data Analytics tool Non-Tech Skills: Ability to work as part of a team Ability to adapt communication according to the audience (business and technical) Ability to interact strongly with the business process organization to identify required changes in technical configuration to adapt to business process improvements Manage and function well under tight timeframes - manage multiple priorities concurrently Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself Ability to relate future direction of the organization while designing solutions and managing change Good written communication skills Professional use of Outlook. Microsoft Teams a plus ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support the SAP template solution being developed and implemented in different regions Participate in the planning and implementation of all processes to understand data requirements Provide support for all data related objects. Working with Global Data team to identify existing objects to be used, new objects that can be performed in LSMW and those that will need a custom ABAP object Collaborate with the BPO group to document the relevant data objects, SIT Cycles and data review process Protect and ensure the integrity of the LEAR business Data within the SAP template solution Manage own work within the project team and ensure consistency and communication Participate in the analysis, design and rollout of the SAP solutions for all functional areas as it relates to data Coordinate activities with other SAP team members WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel will be expected when required to perform a successful SAP launch Lear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.
