Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.May provide consultation to users and lead cross- functional teams to address business issues.May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.Has a strong urgency to get things done.Effectively organize plan and prioritize work.Stay up to date in technical skills and current practices.Communicate effectively in a variety of settings and be curious and ask questions to ensure understanding.Written communication is clear and concise.WHAT YOU BRINGExperience in Agile/Scrum (Incl. SAFe) and waterfall methodology with cross-functional team expanding against multiple time zones.Deep understanding of data warehousing, development/support processes.Ability to grasp complex tech dependenciesUnderstand internal & external business processes.Analyze business needs & perspectives by coming up with ideas for a solution and taking action.Skillset to establish rapport with the tech team and business stakeholders to organize everyday work efficiently and effectively.Ability to ask questions to quickly understand and improve both existing and new processes.High level of proficiency in identifying root causes of any project issues as pertained to data analysis.Expertise in requirements gathering and analysis, observing and obtaining information from all relevant sources.Data profiling that involves analyzing and assessing data to improve its quality, accuracy, and usability:
Data type checkConsistency checkSyntax checkIntegrity validationTechnical knowledge in SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Office Suite, Cognos, Tableau, SAP, etc.
Being able to figure issues/problems out by Google, chat GPT, SAP Help, SQL help (sqlbolt), etc. We need people to troubleshoot, and problem solve.
