Create, modify, and optimize software tools to ensure efficient data management and analysis. Tool Maintenance: Take ownership of existing software tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, reliable, and meet the evolving needs of the research team. Perform regular maintenance, updates, and bug fixes as necessary. Testing and Certification: Participate actively in the testing process by reviewing and analyzing software tests, witnessing test procedures, and certifying software for deployment. Ensure that software applications meet quality and performance standards. Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design specifications, parameters, and project tasks. Develop and implement software engineering applications that align with project requirements. Compatibility and Interface: Address hardware and software compatibility issues, interface design considerations, and system architecture requirements. Ensure that software solutions seamlessly integrate into the clinical research environment. Creative Problem-Solving: Perform complex and challenging assignments, utilizing your technical expertise and creativity to conceive and plan projects. Assess basic architecture, identify hardware limitations, and select innovative concepts and approaches to enhance software tools. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelors degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
